Hester has studied law in Groningen and in Kingston, Canada. After her studies, she worked as a lawyer at Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam for 7 years. She then moved to the east of the Netherlands. She was one of the founders of DAAN.
Within the area of employment law, Hester advises and litigates in cases on reorganisations, (collective) redundancy, employment agreements, employment terms and conditions (including non-compete and non-solicitation clauses), employee participation and mergers and acquisitions. She also regularly assists shareholders and directors in employment law issues.
In addition, Hester also acts as a mediator. As a mediator she assists parties in resolving all kinds of conflicts, for instance between an employer and an employee or between shareholders.

Jasmijn graduated from Radboud University in Nijmegen in 2019 and then started working as a legal assistant at the Gelderland District Court. After two years, Jasmijn made the switch to DAAN Advocaten B.V. There, Jasmijn focuses on employment law, the area of law in which she graduated.
Jill is currently studying at Radboud University, where she is pursuing the bachelor’s degree in Notarial Law. After her bachelor’s, she plans to pursue the master’s degree in Civil Law. Besides her studies, she works as a legal assistant in the bankruptcy section.

Maike has worked as a secretary at various law firms since 1993. From 1995 – 2000 she worked as a business class flight attendant for KLM. She subsequently went to work as a secretary at Hekkelman Advocaten & Notarissen, before joining DAAN at the beginning of 2015. Maike supports the team at DAAN as a facilities assistant/secretary.
